  • Yes and no, while having a piano at home is the best option, sometimes it is not feasible. There are keyboards that you can purchase from Amazon that will do the trick. However; there are a few necessities needed. Keyboards that have weighted keys simulate the feel of an acoustic piano and are important for piano lessons. Also, keyboards that have less than 88 keys will work in the beginning but you will want to upgrade as your student progresses. Contact Studio Lickiss for more information.

  • 1.Studio Lickiss will provide a link for any materials needed at the time of lesson. Parents will be responsible for the cost of these materials as these are not included in the tuition fees.

    2. A 3-ring binder with folder space - this is to keep your student organized and all handouts in one place.

    3. A pencil for marking music and doing theory work.

  • Missed lessons will be handled one of two ways -

    Students will use the Forte platform to have lesson OR

    Students will email instructor a recording of their lesson material and instructor will email back things to work on before the next lesson.

  • Absolutely! Learning an instrument at any age is fun and exciting. Studio Lickiss will meet the student where they are and take them to where they wanna go in their musical learning journey.

  • Yes, Studio Lickiss also offers private voice lessons for students ages 8 and up. Studio Lickiss is always expanding and offering more opportunities for learning. If you are wanting something that is not offered, please contact us and let’s have a conversation.
